Dr. JimZ Plant-It Fertilizer Brochure Information - Save-A-Tree - Plant-It

SAVE-A-TREE™ is a new and unique fertilizer developed to provide nutrients in a form, which works cooperatively with the plant and the soil. Our patented process breaks organic materials down to their colloid state (microscopic particle size) and bonds N-P-K as well as calcium sulfur and lots of trace minerals to the organic colloid under controlled conditions.

These organic colloid nutrients compounds are then suspended between molecules of water to form a liquid suspension fertilizer. When applied to the soil, structure instead of moving out with the moisture.

When nutrients are part of the organic complexes, plants can select what they need, when they need it, rather than being force-fed whatever soluble nutrients happen to be in the soil moisture when they take it in. This choice of nutrients allows the plant to achieve natural growth and maturity for a high quality crop, and to build the vigor to resist insect and disease damage.

Recommended application rates on golf course greens are at two gallons SAVE-A-TREE™ per 1000 sq. ft. each month. Residential turf responds well at two gallons/100 0 sq. ft initial application with follow-up rate at one gallon per 1000 sq. ft. each 6 weeks with 3 to 4 applications during the growing season.

A NEW CONCEPT IN PLANT NUTRITION

Listen to what the soil scientists who have been involved in improving the quality and quantity of our fool supply have to say about stable, available nutrients held in the root zone by organic colloids.

• Milton Whitney, Chief of Bureau of Soils, USDA, said, “A plant food in a colloid state appears most active and efficient, and seems to have remarkable powers.”

• Dr. Carey Reams stated, “Chemical compound colloids are so small that they will fit into the space between the molecules of water. Chemical compound colloids are 100% available to plants and they will not be leached out of the soil.” He also taught, “it fits any plant frequency, and because of its electrostatic properties, it allows mineral nutrients to go into a plant without interference or resistance.”2

• Dr. William Albrecht said, “When the soluble inorganic nutrient elements are taken into insoluble, much larger complexes, both parts are made much more available as nitrogen entering the roots of the crop.” In one experiment “the phosphorus form the soil matter was just 100 times effective’ in feeding soybeans as was the inorganic soil-phosphate.3

• Alex Podolinsky tells us, under the heading “how the Plant Feeds,” that we must take into account the unique colloidal nature of humus. He states, the elements, water soluble elements, in the humus, are held in this colloidal substance and are not distributed throughout the soil moisture. The rest of the soil water is to all intents and purposes pure water without any soluble elements in it. When artificial fertilizers are applied to the soil, they are dissolved and then become distributed throughout the soil moisture.”4

• Harvey Lisle explains why soluble nutrients are such a problem: “Chemical fertilizers, when dissolved in a wet damp soil, become electrolytes, and as such are capable of conducting electric currents. A good paramagnetic soil has both paramagnetic and diamagnetic (positive and negative fractions). To retain their properties, these fractions must be insulated one from another. However, the electrolytic solution overcomes the insulation and the soil loses its enlivenment and goes dead. And this is one of the big problems we have with chemical agriculture.:5

When you work with the natural processes of the soil nutrient and energy systems: everything begins to improve.

APPLICATION METHODS

Our standard annual application recommendation for row crops and commercial orchard is 100 gallons per acre. This rate can vary according to the crop to be grown and the condition of the soil. We generally discourage customers from applying less than 50 gallons or more than 200 gallons per acre per growing season. Turf areas: 2 gallons per 1,000 sq. ft. every 8 weeks or as needed. Trees: one cup per caliper inch twice a year, once in the spring and than in the fall. In all cases, SAVE-A-TREE™ should be applied with the ratio of one cup per gallon of water. Use sufficient water to insure uniform coverage.

Application Timing

Because SAVE-A-TREE™ bonds to the soil and does not tie up like regular soluble salts, the time of application is not critical. However, fall application is ideal due to the products ability to encourage beneficial soil bacteria.
